2019 Butch's Blend The Cratonic
Milbrandt
Our second vintage of the Cratonic is a straightforward example of Bordeaux inspired red blends. This wine exemplifies the pure beauty of Washington wine. The site where the grapes were grown for this blend are on the same latitunal lines as the Bordeaux region of France.
The name Cratonic is inspired by the cataclysmic floods known as the Missoula Floods from 10,000 year ago. The floods carved the land of the Columbia Valley creating some of the most diverse soil the United States have to offer for viticulture.
